EWI Around the World

Find out about what Encountering the World of Islam is doing around the world!

The Encountering the World of Islam textbook was first published in English (2005) by Authentic Media (a division of Send the Light, Ltd.), but these materials have also been requested by churches and missions organizations around the world.

The translation of the Encountering the World of Islam textbook into both Chinese and Korean has already been completed. Both translations are being used widely to train Korean and Chinese Christians reaching out to Muslims including several courses among expatriate workers in the Arab world.

We are also currently working on additional translations into French, Indonesian, Portuguese, and Russian. These translations are being carried out by indigenous mission agencies in the countries where the materials will be distributed and used. Encountering the World of Islam is pleased to partner with these agencies, both in an advisory role and in helping to find funding for translation and initial production. These translations of the Encountering the World of Islam textbook will make Muslim-ministry training accessible to leaders in a number of developing nations.
