EWI Facilitator's Role

How Does the EWI Facilitator Help EWI Course Coordinators?

1. The EWI Facilitator will coach and pray for you and your task force.
2. The EWI Facilitator will provide administrative “help desk” support for you and your class.
3. The EWI Facilitator will tailor our brochures, posters and other promotional materials for you to print locally. In addition, the EWI Facilitator will include information about your class on the EWI locations web page.
4. The EWI Facilitator will set up and maintain an online classroom site where your students can discuss class topics, download audio lectures for class sessions that they miss, complete quizzes, and access additional course resources.
5. If needed, the EWI Facilitator may be able to handle online registrations, student receipts, and finances and accounting for your course. Please contact us to discuss this option early in your planning process.
6. The EWI Facilitator can provide non-profit status for your course so you will be able to receive tax deductible donations to underwrite course expenses. Several restrictions do apply, so contact us for more details.
7. The EWI Facilitator can serve as a liaison with the Association of Christian School International, Colorado Christian University, Columbia International University, and Denver Theological Seminary to provide continuing education units or academic credit options for Encountering the World of Islam courses. We can also provide advice on obtaining academic credit through other institutions.
